Linking ecological processes with evolutionary patterns

Welcome to the Muñoz Lab at Yale University in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. We study the morphology, biomechanics, ecology, and physiology of amphibians and reptiles to understand the processes that drive their evolution and diversity.

Interested in joining?

We are always looking for enthusiastic and motivated students to join the lab! We will have several opportunities for undergraduates to assist in our on going projects focusing on evolutionary physiology, ecology, and conservation. Our research currently focuses on two study systems, Caribbean anoles and Appalachian salamanders. There is also potential to develop independent projects for interested students.  For more information please contact Dr. Muñoz.
