Henry Camarillo

Henry joined the lab in 2018 at Virginia Tech before starting at Yale in 2019. He is broadly interested in form-function evolution and investigating how biomechanical constraints may influence morphological evolution. His previous work has focused on the relationship between morphology with swimming performance trade-offs in fishes. For his PhD, he hopes to integrate techniques in functional morphology, biomechanics, and phylogenetic comparative methods to better understand diversification in salamanders.
