Brooke Bodensteiner
Brooke joined the lab in 2017 at Virginia Tech before starting at Yale in 2019. She is broadly interested in how ecological context and thermal physiology interact to shape evolutionary trajectories of reptiles. For her Ph.D, Brooke seeks to test hypotheses related to the timing and patterns of trait diversification relating to adaptive radiations. She obtained her Ph.D. this year and is now staying in the lab as a postdoctoral researcher for a few months until she joins a postdoctoral position in Ed Burress's lab at the University of Alabama next year.
