Sean LiuSean first joined the lab in 2024 as an undergraduate thesis student. He is broadly interested in uncovering the ecological and evolutionary processes that can guide or constrain how organisms adapt to environmental challenges. For his senior thesis, he surveyed the order Anura for mechanisms of hydric regulation, investigating how frog species across diverse geographic regions and environments balance water loss and uptake. Outside of academics, Sean enjoys performing in gigs around the greater New Haven area as a cellist.
