Lila Salazar

Lila first joined the lab in 2023 as an undergraduate laboratory assistant. She is interested in the thermoregulatory behaviors of Anolis lizards and the evolution of their physiological responses to rising climates. Now completing her senior thesis, she plans to study phenotypic plasticity within anoles in response to different thermal conditions, focused on metabolic markers such as thermal limits and optimal temperatures. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and trying new coffee shops in the greater New Haven area.
